i completely agree. whoever wrote and distributed them should've just shut the fuck up and stayed in line. its hilarious to think that someone could believe that a better system of governance--one that does a better job of securing truth, freedom, and peace--could be achieved. everyone knows that's not possible, like you said, by any means, and is completely futile to even try. i mean, history shows (especially american history) that radical change pretty much never works
too bad you couldn't have gotten to him before he spent half his savings and embarked on his 17-day roadtrip to the 17 schools listed. maybe with enough discouragement, he could've realized that this shithole, filled with people that geniuinely have no hope for change, just isn't worth attempts at fixing

simply not true. that remark is not in accordance with my beliefs.
it's impossible to accomplish truth, freedom and peace to the extent that was described in the document. it's too idealistic. there aren't any practical methods mentioned in it by which to carry out these beliefs.
as stated in it, "corruption, miscommunication, greed, and violence...so naturally pervades society."
do i believe that the government needs to be reformed, that changes need to take place? of course.
the practical methods are the articles themselves, and are cross-referenced with footnotes to those "ideals" (truth, freedom, peace) for your convenience. i'll be happy to explain any article to you
right, but therein lies the difficulty in making it a reality.
i'm not saying that i disagree with him, that things need to be changed, but i am saying that he's got a very difficult road ahead of him.
unfortunately people often agree on things but they don't change them.
if you want change, but aren't willing to act, or willing to innovate ways to facilitate action, or at least encourage all positive attempts for action, then you don't deserve that change

I'm 18 yr girl who went to public school, works, took out loan to go to school, and will have a career.
I'm sorry if I choose law, medicine, or some sort of business and worked hard to make a ton of money.
I guess I'm going to advantage of the system and decided to benefit from it instead of choosing a career path which would be less beneficial to me.
I'm so sick of bitching about revolution and how terrible government is.

I laugh and get a thrill of upsetting people. People believe that one persons reaction to something means they learn about the person.
